2024 has been a year of significant market recognition for Sensedia regarding its API management solutions.  In October, the company was mentioned in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for API Management.

 Gartner emphasizes in their report that “APIs provide the foundation for digital transformation, modernization, and digital business ecosystems. However, widespread use introduces management and governance challenges. Here, we assess 17 API management vendors to help software engineering leaders select the most suitable vendor.”

New opportunities

In 2024, the company has been deeply involved in open finance initiatives worldwide, working alongside institutions that drive financial market openness. In the United States, following the CFPB's recent data privacy rule, Sensedia announced a partnership with Mitchell, Stankovic & Associates to launch an innovative Credit Union Shared Services (CUSS) model. 

Details and a white paper outlining technology-driven solutions for transforming credit unions through collaboration will be unveiled at The Underground Thriller during Money 20/20 in Las Vegas, with support from AWS, The Underground, and 30 credit union leaders. 

“Sensedia was introduced to MSA through shared relationships with an innovative fintech partner, AWS, and SaaS cloud banking platform Mambu, who all support the Credit Union Shared Services working group. We connected immediately with MSA’s team, vision, and mission and are thrilled to pursue open banking strategies together for their credit union clients,” announced Arthur.

In Brazil, efforts to advance ITP (Payment Transaction Initiator), JSR (Journey Without Redirection), and PFM (Personal Financial Management) are creating significant opportunities for institutions. In Colombia, Sensedia is partnering with Credibanco to transform the country's entire financial ecosystem.

Open Insurance has become another key niche for Sensedia, supporting Brazil’s largest insurers with solutions and consulting services to foster business opportunities, growth, and regulatory compliance.
